This is one of the more rare machines that Harley Davidson ever produced. In its first production year of 1932, HD produced 89 of these bikes and only a total of 589 of them in the 4 years of production. The major notes about these RLD's are the introduction of the high compression 45's and the horizontal generators and curved down-tube on frames. Later to become the WR which were some of the best flat-trackers
This bike was purchased by CJV owner Justin Myers in the summer of 2012 at the AMCA Wauseon meet in Ohio. This machine was being rolled out of the sellers trailer, before the rest of the counterparts were removed from the trailer it was already purchased and back into the trailer it went. This machine will be rolling around Plainfield IL this summer after a few needed parts and will eventually meet a full restoration later in its life but until then, it'll be a bobber. Stop back and check the progress of this machine out as we finish it.
